- ROUSING WELCOME TO THE YOUNG ADVOCATES OF ``NINE IS MINE`` CAMPAIGN AT RANCHI
Nov. 18. The Rail Yatris of the Nine Is Mine Campaign with 9 Children traveling along the East Coast was given a rousing welcome at Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. The children with their adult guides arrived from Calcutta by Howrah-Hatia Express at Ranchi by 8.30 am. At the station they were received by staff and students of Don Bosco School led by the principal of the school, Fr. Davis. Kokar and by a team from World Vision led by Rekha Purnima Xalxo -Program Officer Incharge-ADP Ranchi|. TRAINING FOR CARE AND PROTECTION OF CHILDRENJun. 16. OOTA-WELLSPRINGS, the Don Bosco Psycho-Social Services centre here at Hyderabad, launched a new training programme on 14th July 2011. The present training is meant for members of Child Welfare Committees and of Juvenile Justice Boards, volunteers visiting government children`s homes and the staff of children`s homes. NAVAJEEVAN BOY STARS IN A TELUGU MOVIEJan. 21. Farook, a student of Don Bosco Navajeevan, Hyderabad, stars in the Telugu Movie, `Golconda High School,` that was released on 15th January, 2011. A talented dancer, Farook has been appearing in some short roles in some films. Now with `Golconda High School` he has made a significant break as an actor.
