    ROUSING WELCOME TO THE YOUNG ADVOCATES OF ``NINE IS MINE`` CAMPAIGN AT RANCHI

    Nov. 18. The Rail Yatris of the Nine Is Mine Campaign with 9 Children traveling along the East Coast was given a rousing welcome at Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. The children with their adult guides arrived from Calcutta by Howrah-Hatia Express at Ranchi by 8.30 am. At the station they were received by staff and students of Don Bosco School led by the principal of the school, Fr. Davis. Kokar and by a team from World Vision led by Rekha Purnima Xalxo -Program Officer Incharge-ADP Ranchi|.     TRAINING FOR CARE AND PROTECTION OF CHILDREN

    Jun. 16. OOTA-WELLSPRINGS, the Don Bosco Psycho-Social Services centre here at Hyderabad, launched a new training programme on 14th July 2011. The present training is meant for members of Child Welfare Committees and of Juvenile Justice Boards, volunteers visiting government children`s homes and the staff of children`s homes.     NAVAJEEVAN BOY STARS IN A TELUGU MOVIE

    Jan. 21. Farook, a student of Don Bosco Navajeevan, Hyderabad, stars in the Telugu Movie, `Golconda High School,` that was released on 15th January, 2011. A talented dancer, Farook has been appearing in some short roles in some films. Now with `Golconda High School` he has made a significant break as an actor. Among the fourteen players, he has one of the main roles and has a important part at the turning point to the movie. He is an all rounder and scores 58 runs in the final match.     Nov. 5. With deep sense of sorrow and loss I am passing on to you the sad news (received this morning through Fr. Kuriakose Pallikunnel) that Fr. ATUL PAUL NEDUMPARAMBIL IMS, the Secretary of The Conference of Catholic Psychologists, (CCPI) returned to his Creator yesterday, 4th November, evening. The funeral will take place at IMS House, Alapuzha at 10 am on Saturday, 6th November. May I request those of you who are in the neighbourhood of Alapuzha to attend the funeral, if possible.
